Tu Do is a Vietnamese-American Cinematographer with a focus on narrative and documentary filmmaking.
His films have played at notable film festivals such as SXSW, Palm Springs International SHORTFEST, and Encounters Short Film Festival. His camerawork and lighting plays on the characteristics of classic American and Asian cinema, creating images that are intimate and real. He is currently based in Los Angeles, CA and is the co-founder of Squid Valley, a creative super team making narrative shorts and commercials. He has sunken countless dollars into 35mm and medium format film as a fine arts photographer.
Recent clients have included Chinatown Market, Pepsi, Twitch, Miller Lite, Axe, Steelseries, Adidas, Nissan, and more.
